Free Entry to MCG Open Day

MCG Open Day returns on Sunday October 1 and we can’t wait to open the gates to the people’s ground for a day full of family fun!
This is a FREE event for everyone to enjoy. For just one day, the MCG will open its doors and allow access to areas of the stadium that are normally off limits to the public, including the famous hallowed turf!

All registrants will go into the draw to win a Melbourne Stars BBL|06 signed team print, and receive an e-voucher to have their photo taken with the 2017 AFL Replica Premiership Cup for only $5 on Open Day. Simply show the voucher in your registration email or print it out to receive 50% off the normal price for all unregistered patrons who will be charged $10 on the day
Please note: Open Day registered attendees will not need to bring a physical entry ticket with them on the day - access is free and via Gate 2.
OPERATING TIMES
Open Day will run from 11am-4pm, with last access to the hallowed turf at 3.30pm.
CONFIRMED ACTIVITIES
-Relive your favourite sporting moments on the hallowed turf of the MCG with kick-to-kick with family and friends.
-Kids can participate in free cricket clinics courtesy of the Melbourne Stars.
-Create your own Grand Final celebration and have your photo taken with the 2017 replica AFL premiership cup (at the reduced cost of $5 per photo if you pre-registered).
-Explore the inner sanctum of the MCG, from the player change rooms and cricket viewing rooms to the MCC Library and The Long Room.
-Visit the National Sports Museum at a discounted cost (only $5).
-See, hold and take photos with a variety of amazing animals at our petting zoo
-Kids can enjoy free pony rides from 11am-3pm
-Enjoy traditional footy fare - from meat pies and hot chips, to salad and sushi at family friendly prices. Don't miss out on the Kids meal deal!

MEMBERS DINING ROOM EXPERIENCE
Turn your Open Day visit into a foodie affair, and book an a-la-carte dining experience in the Members Dining Room. Attendees can take a break from exploring the inner sanctum of the ‘G and relax with a delightful lunch in one of Melbourne’s most exclusive venues. Bookings are a must! Located on Level 2 inside Gate 2.
